RESEARCH FINDINGS Vandana Shiva and Maria Mies' Methodological Principles for Feminist Research in their 1993 book Ecofeminism, which sets out the “dedication of Women's Studies to the goal of Women's Liberation”, guided us throughout the entire process from field research design, data collection, data analysis to the writing of this report. Because, like Shiva and Mies, we always prioritise making the human rights of girls and women and their words, experiences and efforts visible and indispensable by saying ‘experience and struggle come before theoretical research’ [11].
