S Y V UR E Employement: 6.8% (14 respondents) are working regularly, 8.3% (17 respondents) are working irregularly, 31.1% (64 respondents) are seasonal workers. 49.5% are agricultural workers (47 respondents), 34.7% are housewives (33 respondents). 46% WORKING (95 respondents) Those who are not working: 98.2% are housewives (109 respondents). 54.1% had never worked (60 respondents). 13.5% are unemployed and looking for a job (15 respondents). 54% NOT WORKING (111 respondents) Other reasons for not working were as follows: Having a baby, pregnancy, illness or health problems, due to age, housework and taking care of children, taking care of grandchildren/ill mother-in-law, retirement, helping husband (in grocery business), becoming unemployed as a result of migration due to earthquake, husband forbids wife from working.
