Only 7 out of 95 respondents who are working, stated that their social security contributions are being paid. Those with Bağ-Kur (a type of social security that is paid as if self-employed) are cleaning workers. Those whose social security contribution are being paid by their employer are agricultural workers, grocers, peddlers and carers. When the monthly earnings of the employees are compared with the minimum wage, it is observed that the majority (71 respondents) earn an income below the minimum wage. When asked about the sources of income of the household, the majority (194 respondents) answered that the salaries/wages of the individuals in the household constitute the household income. 31 Y V UR E
